Laxmi Mehta, MD, on Preventing, Treating Myocardial Infarction in Women

 

Dr Laxmi Mehta, from Ohio State University, talks about how treatment options differ between men and women who present with myocardial infarction and how to prevent a subsequent infarction.

Laxmi Mehta, MD, is a noninvasive cardiologist and professor of medicine in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at Ohio State University. She also holds the Sarah Ross Soter Endowed Chair in Women's Cardiovascular Health and is the section director of Preventive Cardiology and Women's Cardiovascular Health at Ohio State University.
